Anthony (Tony) Marzano is a writer, director, producer. Tony's first feature screenplay, A Moment of Silence, garnered him success as a quarter finalist in Fade In Magazine's screenplay contest and a semi-finalist in the Kairos Prize. Tony was accepted into Miami University's Global Field Study program where he earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in conservation biology. His inquiry-based focus of study centered around how storytelling can affect attitudes towards conservation. For his capstone project Tony completed a treatment titled "Environmental Fall Out". He adapted this treatment into a feature length action adventure screenplay. This screenplay has been a Bigfoot Script Challenge Finalist and winner of best screenplay at the Colorado International Activist Film Festival. Branching out into producing and directing he has created three short films. The first one completed, Second Shot, world premiered at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood at the Dances With Film film festival. Second Shot has also screened at the Academy Award Qualifying festival Hollyshorts. His two other shorts, Touchdowned and My Brother Sam will be hitting the festival circuit soon.
